Working Cattle Now
Thank you for all you did with Page. We are doing well together, I think we will make it. I have been to two pennings with him and am happy. He is trying hard, still gets lost a little, but he is quiet when he needs to be, and at this stage that is all important. I am trying to get in as much ridding as I can, and so far so good. He is getting a little lazy, and really, that is a good thing for him, considering how up tight he was. We are working cattle a couple of times a week at least, and riding out. He is no longer having a problem being bitted, he opens his mouth puts his head down for me. We have worked a lot on that, and he is doing so well. All and all I am happy with him. We need help with the roll backs, he is dragging around too much. I want to send him back for a month or two when I get finished with the penning season for a little help for us both. I know I am too easy, and he is lazy, I want to squeeze every bit of ability out of him I can. Thanks for what you have already done, and I look forward to working with you more!
